Default The PS3 isn't good enough! I want more features!!!

lol

Obviously, I am kidding. I am wondering though what everyone would like to see next? Everyone was ranting and raving (especially on these forums) that they wanted DTS-MA. *DONE* Then, everyone wanted in-game XMB access. *DONE*

Seriously, what is next? Could this beast of a console get any better?

Better DVD, PS2 upscaling would be nice.. hell 100% PS2 backwards compatibility would be nice..

Game to actually use the new trophy, in game music, in game messaging and video features would also be nice.

In-game voice chat would be a blessing. PS2 backward compatibility for 40GB users would be a nice touch too.

If they don't update so that 40gb systems are backwards compatible, at least put realistic prices on PS2 downloads...e.g £4.00 a game, I mean who really is going to pay over that for an old-non hd game?

I, for one, am really happy with all of the improvements the PS3 team has given us so far. If you stop to think about it, the amount of programming and engineering that has gone into video upscaling, HD audio decoding, SACD playback, and everything else is staggering. Sony has delivered an awful lot in a short amount of time, yet we continually clamor for more.

If I were to ask for something, I guess it would probably be cross-game voice chat. Given the independent flexibility allowed to developers on how to support online game features, I think that's a big compatibility issue that won't be overcome.

How about better parental control settings? So if I have a bunch of M rated games I play on my user profile, my son cannot see those games, or any of their relevant save or install files, on his profile.

With the latest firmware update that is enabled. Its now up to the game developers to push a patch for the individual games to use it.

I'd like it to have a variable zoon function for the movies (like it has for example for images) so I wouldn't have to check out so many black bar threads

Hey Mike, where did you see the update for "voice chat" in every game enabled? I only saw texting.

Thanks,
