PS3 Bluetooth Help

When I go to Setting > Accessory Settings > Manage Bluetooth Devices it tells me " The Bluetooth Devices Has Not Been Registered. Do You Want To Register It?

I click Yes

Then I Press Start Scanning and it scans for hours and nothing happen it just keeps on sacnning.

Why??? please Help

is you bluetooth on while it scans?

2 questions, don't be offended.

1. Batteries in remote are good?
2. Did you press the PS button on remote as well?

Read your instruction manual for your blu-tooth CAREFULLY. I don't mean this to be condecending, I say it cause I've experienced this.

One blu-tooth had to be held "on" during power up for over 10 seconds - once it lit blue and stayed blue, then it was ready for pairing.

Another device I had, had to be held until it had alternating blue and orange lights, then hit the talk button for pairing.

If you blue-tooth device is not ready to be paired, the PS3 will sit there scanning forever. If it doesn't detect something after 2 minutes, it will probably just time out.

Be aware, some devices I've tried suck. My Motorola 350 works awesome with my cellphone, but was horrid in Warhawk. Same with a GE one I had. The Jabra that comes with Warhawk works exceptionally well; however, the earband gets uncomfortable after just a half hour or more.

You didn't tell us what you were trying to pair with the PS3.

You can pair headsets (including ones designed for cellphones) for voicechat, the official Blu-ray remote control, keyboards, mice, not sure what else.
