I apologize if any thread of this nature has been posted previously, but to date (May 28, 6 days before release) I have not seen ANY screener reviews of ANY kind at ANY of the reviewer sites out there. I have been scouring the net for three weeks, but nada.

About a month ago I sold/gave away a ton of SD DVDs that I've either upgraded to BR or plan to, and TWBB was one. Any info on PQ/AQ and the like? This along with Dirty Harry and Patton are highly anticipated June releases for me.

One of the big driving forces behind me wanting to upgrade TV and player/receiver is so i could get all i can out of the June 3 release of There Wil Be Blood.

I watched it a few times on DVD from Netflix.... and CAN NOT FREAKIN' WAIT for this Blu Ray !!!!!

I wonder in distributors have this yet. Mine hasn't shipped from DVD PACIFIC yet, but they did ship PATTON (Same Street Date) and THE OTHER BOLEYN GIRL (which streets June 10.). They would have sent it to me if they had it. This could be another Paramount title difficult to find on the street date.

I started the thread because I simply haven't seen any and was hoping to draw some out from those who had info. Don't you also find it strange there is no word yet six days before a release, hmmmmm?

This is all the more frustrating given that a lot of other early-June releases already have been reviewed.

I will update/edit the opening post should/when others post links to reviews... so no need to get 'bummed' out, they will come and this is a place you could check later.

I'm also excited especially since the SD DVD didn't have much above average PQ/AQ.

The dvd's video quality was bad. Worse than most recent dvd transfers.

I thought the dvd looked surprisingly good considering the scenes in that movie are either really dark or really bright. Lots of natural sunlight, candlelight, moonlight. Beautiful stuff.

Yes, I can not wait for this to arrive. I watched it ON-DEMAND and the movie is one of the better stories I've seen in a while. A must have for me. I hope the BLU version is of awesome quality. Sound & Vision Magazine rated the special version dvd as "reference" quality. This movie is a really great movie so I hope it gets the proper treatment.

I know this store pretty well and they too have been extremely loyal and kind to me but they don't do early shipping and they call themselves amazon
