Awesome! Can't wait to watch this. I love the cover art. Now we need a Woodshock announcement.

No. It's experimental arthouse drama.

I much prefer the original movie poster, where the imagery is b&w. I also dying care for the quote front and center under the title.

Best film of the year so far for me. Best to know as little as possible before watching. I will only say: have some patience.

I couldn't be any more excited to buy this. I wanted to see it in theaters but it never came anywhere near me despite my local theater having a poster up for it.

Who says it'll get any wider of a release? It's been out 17 days and made $470,000. Home media is its best bet for profit, because although people whine and complain about wanting original films, they don't go see them when they do arrive. Granted, it's hard for any film to make a huge profit on a 43-screen release, but you'd still think in major markets it would've made more than that, when all you read about is people wanting original films over more "reboots". Yet it's the reboots that make money.

It expands next weekend. Also I'm sure it will make money as it cost almost nothing to produce.

Also I'm happy with that cover art. They could have screwed it up like It Comes At Night, happy with this

Been waiting to see this since the first reports out of Sundance. Hopefully, it'll play near me if it goes wider. Otherwise, Day 1 on the blu.

Same here. The nearest theater showing this was about an hour away in the city, the very unsafe area to boot.

If I indie films like this are not playing in your area you can actually contact your theater and ask them to screen something. I didn't think this was a viable thing to do but the creators of The Big Sick had a great twitter thread about the process and it does work, albeit not always.

I was considering making this long trip across town to see this, but if it's coming out in October anyways, I can wait. I don't want to, but I will.

I see why A24 is doing this so early though. Word of mouth wasn't necessarily its forte. They know this wont have much of an audience by July 28th competing with the other big budget movies. So much easier to have the BD release announced.

I'll be buying this on blu for sure, but for some reason I just want to see this in a cinema first.
