I'm surprised there hasn't been a WWDC thread yet.

The Stevenote kicks off in about 2 1/2 hours. Let the predictions begin!
I'm looking forward to the new iPhone software, and the 3G iPhone that will probably be announced.

Today is like Christmas for Mac nerds like me....lol

I've crossed my fingers that he won't announce a 3g Iphone.

To make all those dumb morons who sold theirs already on E-bay cry.

I just wish they'd release the update. My phone ran much better before the last one and it'd be nice to get it back to where it was.

Side note . . . does the push email mean it will work like a Blackberry where you get your email almost instantaneously, or is this only if you're using Activesync? That's my one major complaint is that I don't get my emails consistently, even though it's set to auto check every 15 minutes. Sometimes I'll get home, pop open my Macbook and I'll have six or seven emails which didn't come up on my phone. When I do the manual check they'll come up, rendering the auto check worthless.

This is amazing. The iPhone is now poised to be the ultimate Blackberry killer! Whoa!

Hopefully some of these apps will make it into the ipod touch.

God is discussing new features in the iPhone 2.0 software. First, contact search with live searching. Second, full iWork document support. Third, complete support for Office documents (Word, Excel, and now PowerPoint). Fourth, bulk delete & move for messages. Fifth, the ability to save images you get. Sixth, a new calculator with scientific mode when you rotate the iPhone. Seventh, parental controls. Eight, tremendous language support.

2.0 Software in Early July. Free for iPhone, $10 for Touch

Cool, looks like 2.0 will significantly improve the email functionality. I'm happy. Come on July!

:grumble: May have to upgrade at some point. Although, compared to the Blackberry I had before the iPhone, the internet is still much faster. I'm not too sure about the plastic back.

Is GPS only on the 3G iPhone? It's kind of vague.

I believe that GPS is exclusively on the 3G iPhone.

WWDC? I thought that this was something to do with wrestling. I was wrong.

Well finally though, they put 3G in the iPhone. I have no idea why they didn't do it in the first place.

Eh, it doesn't seem like much of an upgrade to me. Sure it's faster and got gps and a few improvements but still doesn't seem like a whole lot. Does it have any video capturing/sending capabilities or the new video service att is coming out with? I wanted to get this phone but after seeing the LG VU for the same price and a cheaper data plan (15 compared to 30) I think I'll get that instead.

There was some conflict with the battery, so they left it out.

Does anybody know if it's $200 after rebates? I don't see how they can sell them that cheap. A Nano is only $200, and it's the dirty step child of the iPod family. Perhaps there's going to be some uber-elite iPhone at the August iPod event

Also, Me.com is lame sounding. .mac was so much cooler. Why couldn't they keep that domain an option and give users the choice of me.com or mac.com

God, some of those iPhone apps look amazing. When I get Leopard, I'll be making some
