Will probably never buy unless I can get it for under five dollars. Although I love animated films, this looks downright horrible.

I wish it contained audio commentary with producer Scott Mosier.

I just want to point out that all of the people claiming this is a bad sign for 3D,
that Fox isnt releasing this on 3D bluray
While Fox is the one releasing the Bluray, it's not actually a FOX movie it was released by Relativity in theatres, and even then Relativity didnt produce the film they just handled the domestic theatrical distribution,
There is a good chance that FOX wasnt given the option of producing a 3D bluray of this.

Now if there was no 3D bluray for Fox's Walking with Dinosaurs 3D then that would be a different story.

This was a cute little movie. I laughed out loud quite a few times. Still contemplating if it's worth a purchase or not.

I won't be buying this unless they decide to release it as a 3D+Blu-Ray+Dvd+Digital Copy+DigitalHD UltraViolet 3-disc combo pack. I'm not going to double dip like I did with Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows, Part I 3D just to upgrade to 3D.

This same issue happened with Disney's Frozen. Just like Thor: The Dark World 3D is a 2-disc Blu-Ray 3D+Blu-Ray+Digital HD Digital Copy instead of a 3-disc 3D+Blu-Ray+Dvd+Digital HD Digital Copy.

One of the better animated films of the year but it still isn't that great and the features are awful so only a rental or uv purchase is recommended.

Thought this film was alright, I liked the idea of Turkeys attempt to change history, some parts of the plot could've been alil strong here/there, Reggie's a wonderful character while Jake comes off a tad annoyin bout like 10 mins after you meet him

I can't believe there's only a 2D release. Let's hope Fox is not paying too close attention to Disney with Frozen and decides to release right before Thanksgiving later this year.

Just want to point out yet again, this movie is not a fox movie,
it was an independent production.
IN the states it was released theatrically by relativity in other parts of the world it was released theatrically by other studios

for home video, it was fox who aquired the home distribution rights for the states, other parts of the world its other distributors. And youll notice those distrubtors havent announced a 3D version either.

the lack of 3D here is most likely NOT fox's doing.

The 3d isn't being released in Germany until September 30th and the price is rather high. I'm sure glad I picked up the 2d for $9.99. $14.99 on Ebay minus the $5 I sold the DC for.

The Blu-ray 3D region-A release of "Free Birds in 3D" was released in Brazil on March 14,2014. See specifics on Post #66 from the "3D Blu-ray movie" forum section.

I'm not sure if anyone is interested, but Amazon and Best Buy have this for $5.99.
