Will the ps3 80 gig bundles be out at walmart tonight at midnite?
and do you still get a 100 dollar gift card for either the 80 gig bundle or the 40 gig? Just wondering if that deal expired or when it does.

Did this really need a thread?

1) If they will be ot at midnight would depend on if its a 24 hour store, and if that particular walmart is doing that... a phone call would help.

2) You SHOULD get the GC for the 80gb bundle or the 40gb...if they give you a hard time then ask for a district manager.

You will definetly get the gift card with the 40 gig, possibly with the 80 gig. The deal will run up until Father's Day. As to wether or not your store got the bundle, not sure. You would have to give them a call and see, as the amount will vary per store.

Yes, weve gotten confirmations over at SD that yes, the 100 dollar gc IS RINGING UP with the 80gb ps3 bundle.

I would not buy any thing expensive from that store! I just don't trust them for some reason!!

The first thing the lady mentioned when my buddy and I walked up was that they already sold out of the 80GB "Metal Solid" PS3's. We got there at 12:15AM so someone was camping them apparently. We just wanted the game anyways but there were 4 Wii's sitting there. Was tempted to buy one but I didn't know if they're still profitable.

You can still manage to get $300 for a Wiion craigslist. If you prefer ebay, there is no profit once you account for fees and shipping.

YES!!!! I SCORED MINE!!!!

The saga started at 7:30pm... I call up one of my local Walmarts for the THIRD time that day and I was blind-sided when she said they had decided to start handing out tickets #($&#@$&#@! They had already handed out 5 of 8. It only took me about 15-20 minutes to get there but of course by then they were sold out.

Then called another store at 8:00pm already had one person there. I flew there too at lightning speed. Got there around 8:30pm and person 2 and 3 were there. I was number 4.

That store had 8 PS3s also. Those spots filled up QUICK. By 9pm, 3 hours before midnight, all spots were taken and people were still coming and calling.

No problems whatsoever getting the gift card. EVERYONE in line new about the deal so there wouldn't have been any problems anyway.

I walked out super happy. I just finished playing about 2 hours of GRAW2 (I'm working my way up from older games). Looking forward to COD4 and MGS4. =D

Good job to all who got an 80GB and survived! My Lovely 40 GB Showed up yesterday, and I got a lil CoD 4 Time in, and then watched a DVD, I have to say I'm awfully impressed with the upconversion of the DVD it looks so much better than my PS2... Very impressed so far...
