Default Usb adapter

to get the last(and first) update for my ps3 i need to use a usb adapter cause im never going to hook it up to the net. the usb port on my pc is bigger than the usb port on the ps3 is there a adapter that you use or a wire from you pc to the ps3 anyone have any clue????

you can just save the update to a memory key (jump drive) and plug that into the USB drive on your PS3.

All USB slots are the same size! What fits into one slot will fit into another (yes I'm still talking about USB ).

I know you say you don't want to connect it to the internet but I would advise you to do so as it is much easier.

That just means that the usb is a more updated version of USB as a port. It doesn't change the port interface (the square slot), USB will pretty much be a standard size just like a VGA monitor interface is typically a standard size.

yup just a matter of data transfer rate you can do with usb 2.0 that you couldn't do with usb 1.1.
