Ummm mine allows me to buy it from 3 different retailers? Do I need to actually click on the retailers and attempt to purchase to get the message that I must wait?

Didn't the mods state that "items for pre-order" threads are not allowed anymore? besides, this bundle will be plenty to go around.

Gunmetal one is still up for sale on the Konami website. I don't know whether any B&M retailers are carrying it.

But, it's Gun Metal Gray and comes with the special edition of MGS4, so that's like $70 right there.

Also comes with a DS3 controller (do new packs come with them yet?).

Of course, I don't need another PS3, but it's tempting.

If Konami was not stupid and put a $599 price tag on the gun metal ps3, it would have been a HUGE collectors item and sold out in minutes(or hours cause Konami's site ran horrible the first day). I can maybe see the gun metal ps3 at $449 maybe $499. But $599, come on.

It was selling fine until all of the scalpers (which was around 75% of all who ordered) decided they couldn't make a quick buck on eBay because Konami made "too many units", and promptly canceled their orders.

The fact that these are still available has little to do with how much it costs, and almost everything to do with how much it could be sold for on the secondary market.
