Any news on when these 2 films will be released or a box set with all four on?
Sorry if this has been posted, I did a quick search before hand, any news would be good.

I'm waiting on a Region B version of these too, but I might get the Region Free ones that are out.

all four movies have been released in a blu ray box set in japan which is region free.

Is that a fact or just a comment, as I would like to know if they will all be the same?

A long time ago I saw one of the guys who helped create Saw (I think it was Leigh Whannell or James Wan) post on the main Saw forum that they had already planned out movies until Saw 7 or 8, I forget how many they were doing in total.

My point being there will be a Saw Trilogy box set, Saw Quadrilogy set and even a 5 movie set, 6 movie set and probably however many others are released will get a new box set too.

as long as they make money they will keep on making them and since they make them dirt cheap and get huge returns we will see a few more i imagine.

personally, id wait til they release a box set or the unrated/extended cuts of saw 1. Saw 1 was completely empty on special features, and was also the crappy cut of the movie..

They certainly will, which I don't think is a bad thing. I'm probably one of the only people who actually likes all 4 movies so far.

Also, I might just buy them all seperately and forget about the whole set thing.

just to confirm then you can buy Saw 1 & 2 from Japan which is region free? Any info on the specs, sound codec etc??
I'm not too worried about a set so much, especially if a 6-8 is planned

Good stuff!

I've not ordered from them in a long time but when I did it was for Band of Brothers on DVD which is a great series, it was amazingly cheap at the time, too.

When they have a good deal going, it usually is a very good deal, I have ordered their Terminator 2: Judgement Day as it was (and I think still is...) very cheap, overall came to around £6/$12 delivered.

It is Sony's Japanese release of all 4 movies in a single box set. I believe the films are only the theatrical versions. You can view the set here:

Saw & Saw 2 where released on blu ray in the UK way back when blu-ray was first launched. I remember seeing them in HMV.

The guy told me they had been deleted, so obviously they will be re-releasing them at some point. Maybe they are waiting until part 5 is released?
