I agree - I was hoping Sony would have released it for Opening Day this year.

Would be a very strong release, I agree about it being the greatest baseball film also.

Sony released "The Natural" in an extended cut last year on dvd. A Blu-ray apparently was planned at some point to coincide with this dvd but was pulled off the schedule. I was very disappointed when no Blu-ray was released.
