Alone in the Dark for ps3?

On Gametrailers it says the game is coming out on all platforms? Is this true. My local Gamecrazy says they do not have a date for a ps3 version and wouldnt let me pre order it I was looking foward to this game.

It's been announced for PS3 eventually, but as you've been told has no official release date.

Hmm okie, I just found it odd that it wont be released next week along with all other consoles. Does anyone know a time table on this one?

I heard November 2008, because the developers want to take advantage of PS3 hardware.

Nope, it's cos they are having problems porting it to PS3 since it was developed to run on 360. Someone can pull up the source but I remember reading that the PS3 version will not have anything different.

I just hope they make up for it with all the months of delay for PS3 people...

not quite.

Atari told us yesterday that the PS3 version of Alone in the Dark is coming out in autumn. Eden Studios wants to adapt it instead of just doing a simple port. Additional content (episodes) might be possible for the PS3 version.

Demo is coming close to release. If possible they are going to release it prior to the game.

i read two articles and there was no real "reason" given why it was delayed. Sounds like they just want to do a good job and utilize the PS3 correctly instead of just some crappy Port. We could see some nice content as well but i'm assuming it will be something that we will get on launch but xbox / pc will be able to download. I can't wait for this game though
