your perfect lazy sunday? - Blu-ray Forum

at times my job requires i work 6 days in the the week, mon - sat. this weekend was such, so yesterday after i left work i went to dinner with my family, saw the hulk and had friends over. but today i thought "what would be the best use of my sunday?" we went to breakfast with family and i played with my daughter for a little bit, then when she took a nap i kicked on the turntable and pulled out some comic treasuries. i've been reading bloom county, rocking out to some classic rock vinyl, and eating corn pops out of the box. that is a perfect lazy sunday. and its aaaaawwwwweeeeeeessssssooooooommmmmmeeeee

so what's yours?

Sleeping in (which I rarely do)
Nice, quiet breakfast with the wife
A nap (which I rarely do either)
All made better if we're camping in the woods.

I second the beach! Man I miss the beach (I grew up in Miami.)

But the beach is still 2nd to watching a Miami Dolphins Game on Sundays.

My wife knows not to bother me when I am watching my Fins.

Sleeping in.

McDonalds, breakfast, lunch, din dins and maybe Dominos Pizza.

No housework.

TV with favorate shows on (especially NFL Sunday).

No siblings to bother me.

More exciting Sunday on this forum.

Whooping even more candy asses on Warhawk.

Thats all I can think of right now.

Waking up to play flag football with the guys.
Coming home to the GF making pancakes and bacon.
Watching the Giants play the early game.
Taking the dogs to the park to play frisbee.
Having a few beers while grilling dinner.

Not very lazy but that is a great Sunday.

Not sure about the rest, but I play Bethpage Black every year...... and there's no "carts" allowed..... gotta get a caddy (there are some SERIOUS hills... I've never tried to Walk/Carry there..... plus the caddies are very helpful.)

My perfect "lazy" Sunday though... would be Watching Football, and Drinking beer with friends.... I get my "perfect" Sunday usually about 13-14 weeks a year

I agree my perfect lazy Sunday is also drinking beer and watching football...though my team is the Bengals and it would be nice to see a winning season....

Bengals are my number two team. I have had Bengals on my fantasy team for the last two years. I tried to get tix to the Giants/Bengals game this year but my connection fell through.

well if its nfl off season just relaxing maybe watch a few movies and chill..

during the nfl season if the Raiders are home gotta make the 5-1/2 hour drive to Oakland on Saturday so Sunday is game time get up 6:00am get ready then get to parking lot and help set up for the tailgate.. if they are away usually go to a friends and watch the games or go to my booster club and watch...

I usually work sunday but i took it off for fathers day. Got up at 8am (sleeping in for me) Coffee sunday paper ( i love looking at the ads for sales) Internet browsing Bluray.com of course. E-mail. Then I played metal gear 4. My kids gave me a present. ( Dirty Harry box set)

Breakfast, More metal gear. Went to best buy got a new movie. More metal gear. Did a few things around the house. More metal gear. Then drank beer BBQ dad and mom came over and Watched 3 Blu rays drank beer and whiskey. Nice day
