If you got the warranty just go through their hoops, get your new TV and let it be.

Also, Darth Vader would just strangle that little snot with the force.

Two of my coworkers had Samsung TVs go tits up on them within a couple of weeks, one Plasma and one Dynaflat.

One of my TVs is a 26 inch Samsung CRT HDTV, I've never had a problem with it.

Darth Vader? I thought this was a thread about Star Fox.

Maybe both.

why rip best buy? because the little snot who picked up the phone was the most unhelpful person ever!

I was not going to rip best buy, i know they just sell the product, but after you buy their warranty then you call them for service and they act like you are putting them out by using your warranty, then i get mad! they were the same way when my other set done the same thing!

not sure my place is cursed but i was cursing when it happened! It is odd to me though how the 4066f which is the model i have, was a best buy exclusive..soon after i got my set, they stopped selling it! maybe they knew these suckers were defective?

See, I didn't purchase that Warranty.

I bought my TV 6 months ago from Best Buy, and last week it started to suffer from clouding/backlight bleeding.

So I was like "F***!" because I had heard all the customer service horror stories here, so I feared the worst when I called Philips. ((decided to avoid BB completely))

And lo and behold, they sent a technician to my house, disassembled my TV, got the part # they needed, re-assembled it, let me keep it - ordered the new panel, and said they would call me in 2 weeks when the part comes in to come and install it.

In-home service! Ridiculous! And they don't take my TV to some warehouse where it will sit collecting dust for 2 weeks until they fix it. I wonder how Samsung's reps are.

i had heard about and read about samsungs service center and was told to stay well away from them as they are awful! One of the main reasons i took out the extended warranty on the sammy, best buy customer service is awful as well though, as i have come to find out!
