Different Blu-ray movies look better?

Ok
Today was my first time to experience watching a blu ray movie

I only have 3 movies right now in blu ray but working on it.
i have i am legend...men in black and jumper

I watched men in black first...and i thought ok this looks alright...but i thought blu ray was suppose to be a big jump from dvd.

Well then i put in i am legend...WOW...i was blown away.
I almost want to take men in black back or sell it now lol compared to this.

Just wondering how i can tell which blu rays are worth it and which are just worth having on dvd...i havent watched jumper yet...my girlfriend wanted me to buy that and i have to wait for her...but i hope it looks just as good as i am legend...

I like the men in black movie i have them both on dvd...i dunno if the blu ray was worth it tho...i didnt see a real big change in how it looked...Maybe i will watch again and see....O well..adds to my collection im trying to start.

Any info on the blu rays...and suggestions of which ones i should buy next is appreciated thanks.
