After Sat nights little pest problem, why does blu-ray.com not have a wait on new usernames/handles? Say 3 days...

I can see that it would harm the casual surfer who happens across the site, AND that the MODS clean up VERY well (in my short time here, that is the only time I have seen a flame, and even then it lasted a few hours and was gone)...

Thats it... Maybe one of the great things about this site is that the MODs do such a good job that only a few people would know what I am talking about.

Well, I'm not in charge

But the way I've seen it is that similar measures in the past have generated more frustration and confusion for the 99% of new users that come here for legit reasons than they have worked to stop spammers, red ants and trolls, and probably more work in the long run for everyone

besides, they'd create user names in advance and post after the time period. Some people are just...

You couldve kept going lol, its amazing how much time people will waist for nothing, not like they gain anything out of what they do, except maybe they get to pat themselves on the back and eat a cookie.

Most of the accounts behind that were a few days old. And I don't think it's going to happen again.

I expect not, and I expect it was a simple mind thinking out a complex plan.

Still, gots to say the MODs cleaned up well. Aaron should have deleting/locking powers, BTW.

I'm on a forum where you can wait months for you account to be activated and then people still spam, I just don't get it.
