Default Can The Bd-p1500 Bitstream Dts-hd?

Can Anyone With A Hd Receiver Confirm That This Player Does Send Dts-hd For Your Receiver To Decode, Like The 1400 Does? From What Ive Read It Only Does The Dd Truehd And I Have No Clue Why Any Blu-ray Player Has Dd Plus When Ive Never Seen It On Anything But The Dead Hd Dvd. Also My 1400 Is Ejecting Blu- Rays Lately, Saying It Can Not Play Disc. I, So Far Can Get It To Read The Disc By The 3rd To 5th Time. Samsung Says It Needs Serviced. The Problem I Have There Is I Have To Pay To Ship It, And The Warranty Only Covers Labor For 90 Days, As It Is Probably 9 Months Old. Im Sure They Could Easily Want A $100.00 Or So. I Also Know That Those Of You That Havent Had Any Problems With Their Products Like Them, But People That Have Like To Call Them Samsuck. Im Pissed About My 1400 So Other Than My Question About The 1500 What Would You Do About The 1400? Thanks For Any Input!

Why would you want to buy another Samsung BD player after your experience with the 1400? I own a 1200 and after the unfulfilled promises and poor performance of that player, I will never buy another Samsung BD player. I moved my 1200 to a second room (where is rarely gets used) and replaced it with a Panasonic BD30 which has been a fantastic player. The BD30 bitstreams all the hi-rez audio formats (like the 1500) and PQ and SQ are excellent.

YOU GOT A GOOD POINT EVEN THOUGH THATS ALREADY CROSSED MY MIND! I DID CHECK THE SPECS ON THE PANNY 30 AND IT LOOKED LIKE IT DID THE DTS-HD BUT NOT THE DD TRUE HD. I WAS LOOKING AT IT AT WAL-MART. I ASSUMED IF IT DID THE DD TRUE HD IT WOULD BE ON THE BOX AND THE PLAYER, WHICH IT WASNT. ALSO DIDNT KNOW IF IT BITSTREAMED FOR YOUR RECEIVER TO DECODE. I BET SAMSHIT DOESNT OFFEND YOU!

The Panny 30 does Bitstream »TrueHD and DTS HD, i own one

BTW, the Samsung 1500 is completly different than the 1000,1200,1400. They completly changed the chipset maker in this one, so it's working way better than it did before...
