i cant actually make up my mind .on one hand there is the MGS snake eater's theme song and on the other hand there is GT4's intro .
wow i just remembered the theme song for GT on the first playstation

...,so now i realy cant make up my mind .whats urs???

But seriously, for me it might be the Japanese GT4 intro with Moon Over High Castle playing.

This isn't exactly about my favourite theme song but more about them in general or music from games.

First of all, I don't play GTA IV a whole lot, infact I think it's been months since I last put the disc into my PS3, yet I figure they should make some kind of patch which allows you to press X to skip the irritating start-up sequence, it must take atleast a minute or two before you can even start the game whilst you have to listen do that music and watch the same old slide-show!

Also I'm tired of hearing "50,000 people used to live here, now it's a ghost town!" everytime I play COD4, but the game is still badass so I can cope with that.

The Lair soundtrack was pretty good, so was MGS4's. But my favorite theme song for a game is the one from Portal.

The best soundtracks are in the Metal Gear series, the Silent Hill series and the original Devil May Cry. I really love the music in Half-Life 2 as well.
