Training Day, PQ and SQ?

i just ordered this BD along with a couple of others. how did this film turn out, as far as pq and sq?

You're in for a real treat if you ask me. I love the way this movie looks and sounds. It simply kicks a$$ and is underrated. I wrote a review under user reviews here:

In the reviews I read, the HD DVD got a bit better marks, and audio is DD . . . I've held off on buying it for that reason alone. Reviews are generally positive though.

I have only heard exellent reviews from this movie and if it wasn't for wanting other Blu-Ray movies first then I would probably already own it as I have the DVD.

lol, first you should have probably asked before buying it, but otherwise very good PQ one the best for me, for the sound i can t really tell you, i don t have a great sound sysem and don t really care about it..

Looks and sounds pretty good, I thought it was a little soft looking in some scenes. Definetly worth the buy though.

'Training Day' is one of the few original Blu-rays from Warner Bros. that doesn't seem to be affected much by the format port process. Like all of their Blu-rays until now, the transfer was created for HD DVD and then slapped onto a Blu-ray disc. However, it was the first presentation that I was exposed to that made me say "HOLY SH!T."

The one scene where Denzel and Ethan are in the car and they get really tight close-up on both actors, look carefully and you can actually see shadowing in Denzel Washingtons pores!!!!!!! That was the exact moment that I knew I have invested wisely in Blu-ray!!!

Exactly. I said the same thing when I first laid eyes on the pitcure. It still impresses me everytime I watch it. Its a beauty for sure.

Seriously you're joking right? I mean I've heard people say Denzel has been typecasted but you could say the same for Terence Howard. I absolutely hated him in Iron Man. Probably the only thing I could find wrong with the film.
