Default Favorite teary movie endings?

My wife and get I choked up at the end of Raising Arizona when Nick Cage describes his latest dream, and also the end of American Beauty when Kevin Spacey describes his life flashing before his eyes.

Finding Neverland

First movie I've ever been to with the entire audience in tears. (I thought THAT was hilarious.)

The ending of Rescue Dawn had me in tears, the first movie since A Walk To Remember (my girlfriend at the time had the same name as the main character and also had leukemia). Since then, I've also cried during Home of the Brave and Reign Over Me. I actually was close to crying 3 times during There Will Be Blood too.

Agreed! Though I was never really brought to tears. I was just sitting there wide-eyed and my mouth hanging open. It was the first time I think I had ever seen a war movie that made me feel like I was there! I was so blown away by it!

I cried pretty heavily during Riding in Cars With Boys. Hearing the little boy cry when his father leaves always gets me, coming from a divorced family.

I thought there were some really powerful moments in Peter Weir's film, Fearless.

For some reason that was a real sleeper hit for me.

I know that I am not the only one that got sappy at the end of Armagedon! I really don't like the movie, but the end gets me.

Forest Gump, when he is crying at Jenny's grave is always teary.

I knew I wasn't the only one. It's the music and the emation. It gets me everytime too.

Also, Shawshank when Andy escapes and he's free in the rain. Another one I start filling up at.

Easy answer for this one...

Simon Birch

a close second would be Old Yeller.

I was bawling at the end of The Notebook and I'm not ashamed to admit it...

Hell Titanic was pretty heartbreaking itself and so was Forrest Gump...the moment when his mom dies is pretty sad.
