Does anybody know if "A Series of Unfortunate Events" is coming to Blu-Ray? And when?

It's one of several titles from Paramount that's been promoted since the beginning of the format, but still hasn't shown up. I'm curious what the holdup is, myself.

The big titles will come out for the holidays, I'm guessing. Also, all the good movies shouldn't be released all at once or too soon. That leaves nothing to look forward to in the future.

Release this awesome Jim Carrey/ILM film already!

This actually already came out in other territories like Australia, Germany, France, etc. in June. But ever since it got announced, I've been waiting on news for a North American release. It seems like it may happen, but it's taking WAY too long.

I just saw it in a store, and the guy at the counter told me it was region B locked, though it was not stated on the back of the cover at all.

EDIT: I just bought and watched the German edition, and glad to say it's region free!!!!!

awesome! how is the quality? and how is the audio?

Edit: Finally saw your review. Nice. Good thing there's no features. I'm almost sure that they'd be in SD anyway so no way to watch them.
