Default Madden 09 Defense??

I got a question about the defense for the new madden and all of them since the one where Mcnabb was on the cover.

In Mcnabb's year you were able to change a defensive players' play. Like highlighting a safety and then sticking him on a receiver to help your cornerback with a double team.

But the controls were switched since then in all the maddens so I dont know if you were able to do it in any of them since, I know i could never do it

Now that was the best thing because there were so many unstopable players that they needed to be double or even triple teamed like the TE Todd Heap of the baltimore Ravens, every time my frined played as them I always triple teamed Todd Heap with 2 safetys and a linebacker so I could stop him.

so is that feature in any of the madden games since, and is it going to be in this years madden because its the onl way to actually be good on defense and its a realistic feature thats needed and should of never been taking out if it was taking out of the games

Lets all hope so. EA Sports always tries to be creative but its usually something stupid they end up with.

They ruined it when they changed the kicking button to the analog stick which made everything so difficult. I'm not going to stress myself out over a video game regardless if I like difficult games or not.

Don't be surprised if they add that pointless BD-Live to video games so that they can make themselves look good.
