It started off realliy interesting, but the last two episodes were dull for me. The acting was very top notch in this though, and it's at least worth the rental. Not so sure I would buy the series.

I loved it as a whole. It managed to be really entertaining while also being informative. But, agree with your assessment that the last two episodes, which deal with Adams' life after the presidency, could have been reduced to one episode if not totally eliminated.

And even for those who HAVE seen "1776", Episode 2 comes off as a much more realistic (and less comedy-libertied) account of the Philadelphia days.
