Default What Type of Cable?

what type of cable is the one that connects the ps3 to your modem, is it an Ethernet Cable or a Network Cable! anybody have a link (cable around 25ft) thanks for all your help.

FYI: If your wondering why i don't use a wireless router to connect my ps3 to the internet i am very low on money at the moment

thanks for the link so there is no such thing as an Ethernet cable, they are called Network Cable Right? why don't you think the Cat 6 is necessary, thanks for all your help

Just pick up a simple Cat-5 network cable. Network/ethernet. Don't make this complicated. Just go to your local store and buy one

ethernet cable is a network cable.

you can use a cat 6 cable, but the required speed of the PS3 and router do not make it a must...even a cat 5 cable is fine.
