Deepdiscount/Buy.com Horrible Shipping Speeds

Has anyone else experienced the extremely slow shipping speeds when ordering from buy.com? I've bought two movies through deepdiscount on buy.com (so i'm sure DD is to blame not buy.com) and for both movies I had to wait almost 15-17 days AFTER the movie shipped (which took 2-3 days). This seems a little long to wait...

This is a hot topic at the moment. I ordered the Rambo boxset from them and it took 11 days with the free shipping option. Well worth the wait for the good prices. Its hard but just have a little patience.

Yep, I've had that happen to me for a movie. Bought movie through Buy.com and shipped from DeepDiscount. The movie was in stock but extremely slow to ship out....they take their time. Will never deal with DeepDiscount again.

Even with the expedited shipping it takes over a week. They have Batman The Movie for $22, but at their shipping speed, I will pass

I was reluctant to place my order with DD(through buy.com) but I had a feeling I would never see that set at that price again so I went ahead. If you have time to spare then go ahead. If not, try to find your item locally at the best price.

18 days and counting since Rambo (07) was shipped. Unacceptable.

Thats why its better to go with free shipping if you can get your order over the $25 threshold. It could take the same amount of time. Batman: The Movie will drop considerably below that price soon enough(hopefully locally).

I ordered "Step Into Liquid" for around $16.50 and it shipped 15 days ago...I could have purchased it through amazon for $20 with shipping and would have had it by now ... I guess you live and learn. I have a good deal of patience, but I just can't justify 2+ weeks for arrival

my orders usually come in about 10-12 days after shipping with free shipping. Their expediated comes in 3-5 days past shipping. You get what you pay for in terms of shipping. I'm used to it and if it's worth it in terms of price I get it ad DD, but Amazon is the king if I want it fast. (prime baby!!!)

I feel your pain. I also ordered movies that are still in the mail 12 days later. This never would have happened with Amazon, even with free shipping. I'm probably not going to use buy.com again. The slow speed along with the fact that you cannot track the shipment is driving me nuts. Heard Tower.com is really slow too.

Its not buy.com fault for the shipping the movie coming form deep discount so dont put buy.com on your block list for deep discounts service

Add Warnerbros.com up there. 23 days total for my shipment (They shipped it after 7 days, and then did not put my full address on the package ).

Not worth saving a total of $9.

If something is shipped media mail, it can take forever because it's the lowest priority. Especially now with less flights going on, there's less room for packages on airlines which reduce the space for the low priority stuff

While not conclusive, the one time I ordered from Tower.com, I placed my order for Blade Runner on a Thursday afternoon/evening, and it arrived in my mail Monday morning.
