Default What profile are PC BD drives?

Well the title pretty much says it all.

I have a Blu-ray drive in my Sony laptop...and was curious as to what BD profile these drives are considered. I don't think that WinDVD for BD will do PiP...does PowerDVD?

the drive does not determine the profile... its the software/firmware that does.

Profile is not carried in the drive - its in the software, and PowerDVD 8, WinDVD 9 Plus BD, and Total Media Theatre are all profile 2.0

Profile is a function of the playback software, not the drive. Purchase WinDVD 9 Plus Blu-ray, PowerDVD 8 Ultra or TotalMedia Theater:
