Default Anyone seen "Mongol" in theaters yet?

According to movie critic Roger Ebert, here is the link to his article:http://rogerebert.suntimes.com/apps/...IEWS/944262138

It's at a couple of obscure theaters here in Toronto and I do want to see it. It's been out in Europe for almost a year! Anyway, I'm going to wait for the disc release I think. Hopefully it'll be available on Blu'. It DID get panned a bit overseas for omitting a few 'critical' things out of the film which left it 'not historically accurate' but what movie is? You want accuracy, you need a documentary really. Definately want to see this though. Subtitled I believe which is fine by me.

I just got back from seeing it here in Lexington, KY. Getting through the first hour and a half was a little rough. Not because the story was boring, but because time-wise it jumped around a lot. Start here, jump back 20 years, jump ahead 16 years, then a couple more....I couldn't focus on what point in his life it was supposed to be. Subtitles, yes, but the end was very good.

Lots of flesh-ripping carnage as stated by Roger Ebert??? Thats my main focus of the movie.

^Just from your avatar, you seem to be really keen on carnage.

Yeah, I'm keen to see this too. Would see it at my local film festival but there's a bunch of others I wanna see first, though.

... And I *still* can't believe "4 Month, 3 Weeks and 2 Days" was not even nominated for a best foreign language film Oscar.

Flesh-ripping carnage? I wouldn't say that. There's a lot of blood splatter, but nothing I can remember as flesh-ripping. I remember scenes in The Patriot that were way worse than anything in this movie.
