Default Let us decided what the cover would be!

I was reading about all the voting Web of SHadows (Spiderman game) was giving like the models and now the cover of the game too, and it got me thinking, We should be able to vote on a cover because a lot of us dislike some of the covers they release.

Voice your opinions por favor lol

I think that it would be cool if we could vote for a cover. There was a vote for
The Adventures of Baron Munchausen cover art on amazon I think.

It would be nice to have a vote, but it's most likely not going to happen on a regular basis, if at all.

well it's fun to vote and you know feel like your helping pick what the final product will be, but truly I don't care about box art, I'm either going to buy the movie or not depending on if I think it's a good movie, box art has no effect on me what so ever.

If you really care about box art, you can sign up for some of the many online survey sties. A number of those sites regularly have potential cover art for upcoming film posters and/or DVD/BD box art that the studios want input on. Usually, the studio has several different finalist covers with one that they prefer. They ask you about your opinion on their preferred one first, and then show you all the finalists and ask if there's one of the others you like better.

Unfortunately, box art is copyrighted, which means covers have to be changed for every new edition, and ideas are forced to get more and more creative--

(And which explains why the new cover for the vintage "Omen" looks like some fan-made Photoshop, although I'm still not sure "They ran out of usable ideas" is is any decent explanation).

Alright Cartman lol, basically i was getting emails about a new game called Spiderman: Web of Shadows and they were asking people to vote on different things to be included into the game as well as other things. They recently shows voters 2 covers and asked us to vote on which one we would like the most.

I wish Studios would do that as well, like do an online poll to decide what the cover for the DVD/Blu-ray would be. So that is basically what my thread is about.

Wouldn't you like to help decide what your cover will look like instead of something crappy?

That's pretty cool, actually. What sites are they?

I would love to vote on what characters and content gets put in a comic book game. I've been disappointed so often.
