Default Let the hockey season begin!!

Okay, I confess I'm a HUGE hockey fan!
And of course I'm a diehard Red Wings fan. I live in San Diego, so the closest I can get to them is when they play LA or Anaheim.
I just got my first set of tickets for the season, Anaheim vs. Detroit 10/15!!!
Yes!! I can't wait!

Canucks for me, Luongo, has to be the face of our team now. With out him we would be back at the basement as in past years. But with him and Alain Vigneault we are doing much better.

I think I will always remember the Canucks '94 Stanley Cup Run.

I'm with you about the Panthers, even though I'm not too optimistic about them winning a lot. Maybe getting that new goalie will bring us some fortune.

Yeah! Am very happy with the upcoming Hockey Season! Also am a die hard fan of the Redwings myself. I live in Colorado, and get hassled all the time by Avs fans when I wear any type of Redwings attire around town, especially to a game.

Here's something I found for the upcoming holiday:

Go Wings!

Heh, thought this would be an NHL08 related thread, but then I've been heartily enjoying that game on the PS3. Very much reminiscent of a video broadcast and the audio commentary and graphics are much better than 2k7.

But yeah, go Kings.

No, it was resurrected in the form of OT shootouts

I'm going to have to agree with you there, except you forgot to mention Shanahan, Avery, Drury and Gomez to name just a few others that make this Rangers team an even better team than they were last year. If any team was going to bring the cup back to New York, it's the Rangers this year.
