Cool Should I get a new receiver???

I had the unfortunate luck of buying a Sony STR-DG800 a few months before getting a blu player. Since it's just a pass through, I was wondering if I should buy a receiver that will allow for the uncompressed pcm. I only run a 5.1 system and I don't have any complaints so far. The sound is exceptional, but of course I want to know if the uncompressed tracks are going to be that much better. If it's only going to be a slight difference I'll wait. Any help would be great since I'm looking to use some BestBuy giftcards and coupons by tomorrow.

Its really up to you but if you want to take full advantage with the new audio codec you will need a new reciever.
I would suggest instead of buying from Best Buy you can get a better deal online.Alot of members would suggest Onkyo 605 or the 606 or the Yamaha 663, any of these will fit your need.

I'm also running off a 1st gen basic bluray player from Sony. Should that be my first upgrade or the receiver?
