outdoor movie theater - Blu-ray Forum

Anyone have an outdoor theater rigged up in their yard?
I went over to my sisters for the holiday.. they had a small rig set up to watch movies outside... they had a screen put up on their garage a decent projector, and a pair of Klipsch outdoor speakers. I have to admit it was pretty cool sitting outside watching a movie while making and eating smores while sitting next to a fire.

I haven't done it...but I've definitely thought about it.

I may do it sometime.

I think its cool but its not something id do at my house.. my sister has the perfect spot where they can have total privacy, I dont have that. they even have a hot tub nearby so you can sit in the tub and watch a movie at the same time
ive invested too much in my indoor theater to wana spend money on something outdoors.

I used a Marantz amp one time for outdoors, used the pre-outs into 300w active DJ speakers, with an appropriate sub... unfortunately it started raining, and we ended up using it all indoors, but the sound was good and powerful to say the least.

I have an Epson moviemate that i use outside you can either use the built in speakers or hook up a separate home theater,I have a Jamo htib that i use outside its pretty nice just to do something different outside
