Default You've skipped the Blu-ray?

What films in HD are you quite content with on with on regular DVD and why?

Mine:

"Live Free or Die Hard". I bought the unrated DVD. Now THAT was a "Die Hard" movie!

For that matter I will not buy "Walk the Line" is the eventual Blu-ray isn't the extended cut.

I also skipped "American Gangster" on HD DVD because no extended cut.

Here's the biggie:

"Field of Dreams". When it came to HD DVD I thought about picking it up but chose not to. i first saw it on Sci Fi Channel with my father ten years ago. He had seen it and knew I would love it. Once the twist was revealed he said he loved this movie not just because of baseball and how fun it is, but he didn't have a good relationship with his dad, but he and I are very close. On my 16th birthday, fall of 2004, he gave me the 2 disc widescreen version that had been released that summer. We watched it that night once Mom had turned in. Then we powered through all the deleted scenes and extras. It was awesome. We pulled it out again last year before a trip back to my mother's family in Boston. if it comes to Blu-ray I won't be getting it. I'm sure it will look and sound superb but my DVD has DTS and an anamorphic transfer that looks pretty good. Most importantly, it came from my dad
