I've got Golf which is great, and I play that with people when they come round. I've got motorstorm which was great for a while but its too hard after a while especially the night stages and that makes it stale. Ridge racer 7 lost something because 5 was awesome, I think the turbos spoil it for me. Prologue is excellent I will admit, but I have finished it, as for uncharted, finished that as well.
I bought MGS4 and it does little for me. Its great looking but i'm not a war person and find shooting quite boring unless its done in a abstract way like uncharted. Wipeout HD is nowhere to be seen. So i'm wondering what people are playing. Is burnout any good? Can you see me playing it for a while? What about Heavenly sword? I love GOW on PS2 but heard HS isn't as good. Really I love fantasy games that are not RPG's. Really love stuff like Prince of persia, GOW, Shadows of the collosos and Ico. There doesn't seem to be anything like that on PS3 yet. |

Heavenly Sword is good but keep in mind for one its rated Teen and also some of the things you have to do tend to get pretty tough to beat but the sword slashing thats a whole different story because the sword slashing rocks. A good fantasy game is something like Ratchet and Clank

Ratchet and Clank Future: Tools of Destruction might be worth looking into. Seems like you have pretty particular tastes in games, though.
P.S. I'm disappointed in you Shin-Ra. Heavenly Sword over God of War? Seriously? Please tell me you're joking. ![]() |

seems like Ratchet would be your next choice. I own it and loved it all the way through. Orange Box is great because of Portal, one of the 5 games that comes with it. I was lucky enough to pick it up new for $30 at Target. Totally worth it. If you don't know what Portal is, there isn't any shooting. It's a puzzle game. You get to use a "portal" gun to solve problems. It's one of the most original games I've ever played.

Ratchet and Clank (like the posts above have said) is a showcase title for the PS3, I thoroughly enjoyed it. Burnout Paradise is aptly named, Paradise! If you like arcade-style racing games, Burnout is tops, though the new crash mode isn't as fun as the original from Burnout 3. The graphics and sense of speed are simply phenomenal, plus there's a good amount of playtime, even if you JUST do events. My only gripe is that once you get your Burnout Driver's License, you've got to do all (160?) events, which would take forever if even if you're the best player ever. But finding all the signs, shortcuts, and *HUGE* jumps takes the cake!

One of the most rewarding challenges of the game is to play through it without killing anyone and infiltration without being detected. It's a highly unique feature for a war game where you actually get better results by tranquilizing people over shooting them dead. |
