The Rodgers & Hammerstein Collection Blu-ray

Have asked this in the UK section, but really doesn't matter what part of the globe.

Is this on the horizon for BR?

Want it more than most that I have or are waiting on!

Promise, I won't ask of this again this year!

It was rumored before and I do remember one of the major retailers (maybe Amazon UK?) took pre-orders or something... but nothing ever came to fruition for this release. I was hoping this set would come out. I'm not sure why it hasn't yet. Maybe we'll see 4K transfers for these?

The films are all available in HDX on Vudu and look fantastic. Don't know what the Blu-ray holdup is.

Any word yet on what films will be included? I already have South Pacific and The Sound of Music, but I've been waiting for Carousel on Blu-ray!

Heck yes! I've been waiting on this forever. Apparently the Todd-AO version of Oklahoma was given a new restoration recently, so I'm assuming that'll appear here. It would be neat if Fox did what they did with The Robe and present a PiP feature where you can compare both the Todd-AO and Cinemascope versions simultaneously.

I'm assuming it'll mimic the DVD box set from 2005 and contain State Fair, Oklahoma!, Carousel, The King and I, South Pacific, and The Sound of Music. Even though those releases were chock full of supplements (Sound of Music in particular), I hope new extras are created for this set, even if it's just a new bonus disc of miscellaneous content.

Hopefully Universal won't be far behind with Flower Drum Song.

Do you know if these will be released separately? As others have mentioned, I already own a few of these but I am very excited for the others, especially Carousal!
