Default Help with new speakers!

So I rolled out of bed this morning and rushed out front to grab today's newspaper; axious to see the Fry's add. And yea, it was good.

I currently don't have an AVR and just use the built in speakers on my Viera. My goal is to have a fully opperational 5.1 system by the end of September. I'm moving into an apartment where the living room is 15'x18' with the TV being on the 15' side. 2 of the sides of hte room are completely open to the dining room and kitchen.

The plan for a receiver is Onkyo 606/705...whatever tickles my fancy down the road.

Now what I need help with is the speakers. I don't mind just getting a pair of floor standing fronts and running a 2.0 system for a bit until I get the rears and center, or I could do something like the Polk RM6750 package (Fry's instore $199.99). What really caught my eye in the Fry's add is a pair of Polk R50s for $199.98.

I want something that I'll be happy with for mainly movies / tv, but occasionaly music (music quality is by far not my main concern in speaker choice. Movie audio is most important to me). As I live in an apartment I don't need to blow away the walls like the 3 Bad Wolves.

Soooo...almighty Blu-ray.com audio gods....the RM6750, 2 R50s, or just wait and hope this deal comes around later?

*Free e-karma to all that help!
