Default Just skimmed through Crank: questions

#1 - my no-film grain preference makes Crank my current favorite demo movie. Some of the scenes are so stunning it hurts.

#2 - I briefly turned on the "Cranked out movie experience" and it seems to have picture-in-picture. What is warner waiting on insofar as batman begins, since I have seen "lack of PIP" as their #1 reason for waiting on releasing some titles on BD.

I saw this for $24.99 at BB. Is that a good deal?

yeah crank has been my new demo too for the past few weeks now, together with the wild and more recently open season ( i can rely on animation to bring the goodies ) As for the PiP feature glad to see it on there yet disapointed that its an over lay. To me it feels like the PiP feature is on about say 70% of the entire movie. its like watching a featurette only smaller. its annoying that i cant just take it on or off. Youre given two choices watch the movie or watch the PiP feature. Its suppose to be watch the movie and go "hey that shot looks great, any extra on that? lets see (hit PiP button)" then you get PiP after your done back to the rest of the movie. They might have just as well made it a full fledged HiDef extra instead.

What gets me most is that a pop-up menu works but they cant make a PiP work. Now im no Techie or anything but aren't the principles for both basically the same?

Highly doubtful. On hd-dvd players the pip features requires a 2nd hardware video decoder.
