Transformers Blu-ray Cover Art Suggestions - Blu-ray Forum

Hey everyone, tell me what you think of my Transformers Blu-Ray Cover art!! =] This is just my suggestion of what Transformers on Blu should look like!! Now I already know this is Universals cover for their Blu-Ray movies but it would look awesome if Transformers was like this on Blu-Ray! The
HD-DVD version was just plain garbage!! Thanks for the compliments guys!

As long as they don't use the HD-DVD or the 2-Disc DVD artwork. That image was so plain it hurts to look at. I hope they go with what you recommended, or something a bit more bold.

Although, I should say, cover aside, I'll be buying it first day regardless. Blast my weakness for this film, which unlike no other divides forum members ever so fiercely.

That is the Universal visual packaging design for The Mummy movies, Paramount won't use that.

...and I knew that looked familiar! I just saw your posts on the Mummy thread with related pictures and the whole "Premiere/Perfect/Ultimate/Etc" movie experience tag on the bottom rang a bell.

Besides the fact that you used Universal graphics for a Paramount/DreamWorks title, it looks great.

I thought the HD DVD version with the slipcover was fairly classy, especially when you consider how silly the movie is. If it was my decision, I'd just stick with that for the BD version.

With all the work Michael Bay put into developing all the extra's i would be really surprised if it had the same cover art.

I wouldnt think he would want the same as it would relate the superior Blu-ray version to the inferior HD-DVD version......

What extras? Everything I've seen is exactly the same (features wise).

I'm pretty sure all the extras are the same, just ported from HDi or whatever to BD-Java and BD-Live.

Also, your post made me think of Michael Bay staying up all night writing line after line of BD-J code.

More than likely, the cover art for the Blu-ray edition of Transformers will look exactly like the ones on the HD-DVD and 2-disc DVD editions of the movie. Nothing's gonna change that, except the red HD-DVD case becoming the blue Blu-ray case.
