World of Warcraft PS3 petition - Blu-ray Forum

Now, this is the first time i've attempted to set one up, now i aren't no expert so i will need & greatly appreciate all help

Now if your a gamer & haven't heard of, seen or played this game i'll be incredibly suprised given it's insane popularity & huge number of players, over 9 million i believe

Now i don't believe any company is willing to just look away when a large number of people say 500,000+ are looking to buy their product even if it's on a console they may need to make changes for

I personally love MMORPG games & believe they are the ultimate in online experiences, World of Warcraft is not just an insanely popular MMORPG, it's done extremely well in it's design & engaging story

Now i ask of you fellow PS3 owners to help by signing this petition & show Blizzard that we WANT this hugely popular MMORPG for the PS3 system

Blizzard has already stated that a console version of it's recently announced Diablo III could be done so i ask, why not give us this amazing MMORPG called World of Warcraft if such MMORPG games are now easily possible

I look forward to your help & thanks in advance, please do help to make this happen & even if your not a huge MMO player it will help mark an achievement to bring such a game to our beloved console

Thanks for wanting to sign charles, like i said it's more in the phase of making people aware that there will be a petition for this as soon as i figure out with the help of others to create one as i'm a petition virgin

Twankie, i do not like how you are calling a game & genre loved by many 'Trash', i believe some people many not like this genre of games but please do not come here to crap on what i & others are trying to do for ourselves in getting a popular game in a genre we love on the PS3

The same goes for others, if you do not wish to support, do not post with negatives trashing our desire to have this game

Happily petitions never seem to work.

If they worked people would put petitions up for the dumbest things you can imagine. Well, they already do, but it would get worse.

Thank god companies are not dumb enough to listen to online petitions.

Good news! I just finished emailing Bill Gates about this and he said that we need to have 500 people sign this and he will greatly consider it!

Not only that, but due to our enthusiasm with Blu-Ray petitions like these, he will now start implementing BD drives on XBox 360s! Though the catch is that he will only have them distributed by Toshiba.

If you have actually played this game, you would know that it takes a whole keyboard and mouse to have effective gameplay. Limiting yourself to a dozen buttons on a controller is setting yourself up for disaster.

well they could just say on the cover requires a USB keyboard or something like that kind of like how Rock Band says you have to have the equipment to play it

this will never happen. They wont even release Diablo 3 on the PS3, even though they can sort out he controls.

Sincere intentions but your wasting your time. Like you said 9 million users, they not crying out for people are they?

Ummm...no thanks NARMAK.

MMORPG's belong on the PC. The only MMORPG I even "played" on a console was Final Fantasy XI back in the days, and it just didn't do it for me. I'll stick to the games that have an online community such as Warhawk, but still give you the option to close the game out without feeling some kind of repercussion for not being in the game days/weeks/months later.

Besides, as already mentioned: petitions don't usually do squat. And WoW is entering its slowdown period now with Age of Conan pushing its way to the top spot for top MMORPG, so it'd be like us folks getting leftovers at this point.

I played for a while on the PC (not religiously like some people), but I stopped because even with probably around 9 million players as you say, the monthly fee has not decreased...I don't want to pay $13-$15 every month for a game.

If it was free, or maybe $5 I would probably pick it back up...on PC OR PS3

this is why Guild Wars is a great series because its free online play

In a short period of time there will be a bunch of mmorpg's on the ps3. Just have some patience.

I never got into Guild Wars, but it did look interesting and I knew several people who played it because of the free online play.

World of Warcraft is a very well designed game, and is fun to play...but with 9 million people playing, they need to lower that rate....it's been the same since the game came out.
