Music on Ps3 - Blu-ray Forum

first of all, is there a way to get album artwork onto the ps3? second, how do i play music while doing other things on the ps3, like looking at photos?

i know this works for searching on the net, but to play music whilst doing something else, press the PS button, not hold, and it should take you to the XMB. I think then you can play music, press the PS button and it should take you back to the photos.

The background downloading is coming with the March update. Phil Harrison confirmed it a few days ago.

Along with other stuff he's not talking about.

Is there a way to play music (MP3s) or watch video / pictures from another networked device like a PC?

as of now, i don't believe so. however, i have heard rumor that this will be introduced in the march firmware update.

So much stuff is "rumored" to be in the March update that I think alot people are going to be dissapointed. I don't care I'll just take whatever little updates come.
