Default Blu-Ray Disc Specs

Hello! I am doing a report in my english class on Blu-Ray Disc and I need to create my own tables, charts, graphs, etc. Well, I can't find a whole lot of reliable information on the net because of it being so diverse and incorrect. So I was wondering if there was a reliable site that supplied information comparing the Blu-Ray Disc against AOD, HD-DVD-9, Blue HD-DVD-1, Blue-HD-DVD-2, infared CD, and red-laser DVD. If you know of a place, it would be much appreicated. I woud like to compare, wavelengths, storage space per layer per side (total of 4 (2 layers per side)), compression methods (both audio and video), and data transfer rate. Stuff like that and other information that deals with the hardcore specs. Also...does anybody have any new information on the Blu-Ray Disc 2x data transfer rate...I want to see how fast this can really get! Cheers and Happy Thanksgiving!

PS If there is any other information you would like to inform me about, it would greatly be appreciated. This report is for my final and I need it to be as accurate as possible because the prof takes 2 weeks to grade them (She researches the internet on each subject to verify and validate our information...touchy if you ask me!).
