Not that there will be a remake of this classic, but hypothetically what actors/actresses do you guys think would fit which roles in a remake?

NONE....this is one film Hollywood should not even consider remaking or revisioning or whatever they call it...

They need to not remake this, because if they do, I will have to hear about how great a movie the first remake (yes it was a remake) is. I am not that big of a fan of that film. Worst accent ever, Kevin Costner's Robin Hood thought that it was terrible.

I agree it was the worst accent ever but I really enjoy this movie I guess its a guily pleasure of mine.

I think you guys are missing the point of the topic. I don't agree that Scarface needs a remake but if they were dumb enough to do this, I'd say Benicio Del Toro would be the next best candidate followed by Javier Bardem.

One of those movies that should never be touched! Cannot even begin to think that anyone can picture Tony Montana as someone other than Al Pacino!

I would never want this movie remade. If they did, Dustin Diamond and Gilbert Gottfried would have to be in it since the remake would never be as good as the original anyway.

Call me crazy, but Scarface is one of the most overrated movies ever. Sure Pacino is great in it, but seriously the movie is not that great. Tacoreed's suggestions are great. Maybe make Saved By The Bell does Scarface. Or perhaps lets have the cast of Rushmore redo it as Stage Play. See the original Scarface, now that is a classic.

They would have to play the movie more to the vest and not as over-the-top as the Pacino movies. That being said, Javier Bardem could play Tony Montana. He won't be as eccentric as Pacino, but he will give the role all of the weight that Pacino did.
