So, my wallet is 5+ years old, and I am in need of a replacement. I want to go for a slim design and/or money clip (the combo card holder/money clips is cool too). Anyone have any suggestions?
Not to reveal my inner dork, but I've been looking at this 'batarang' folding money clip: http://www.skymall.com/shopping/deta...id=69771983&c= My issue is that due to the magnet clasp, I doubt this would be able to hold bills, license, and one or two CCs (not to mention other 'trivial' carry-items that may be needed). Anyone have any experience with magnet clips? |

Haha yeah I can just see that now
![]() In all honesty as much as i would like a smaller wallet I hate the idea of a money clip and money slipping out by mistake, not to mention someone like myself carries cash about 1% of the time so it would just be empty. |

I've never used a moneyclip, if I don't want to bring my wallet somewhere, I just shove everything in my sock. I've done that plenty of Mardi Gras' just for paranoia reasons. I prefer my wallet to keep everything organized, ID, insurance cards, money, credit cards, work IDs, reward cards (movies, and BB), etc. I've got entirely too much junk that I have to carry to have a money clip.

The Batarang money clip looks like something you don't wanna put into the front pocket of your jeans. Maybe inside the pocket of your jacket.
I use a simple money clip and I use it to hold about three cards as well as money. That's enough. You don't want to bring a load of cash because it'll defeat the purpose of not having a thick wallet. For my other cards, I use a paper foldout that protects the cards as well as storing all the important phone numbers I can't do without (an ICE foldout - In Case of Emergencies). It's just a regular paper. So I use no wallet. fuad |

I went cashless a couple of years ago and love it. Two credit cards and a drivers license are all I carry. I use a magic wallet, holds 4 credit cards and has a place to hold receipts. I just tuck a few twenties in the spare slot for "emergencies".

I use a Fossil wallet. I like smaller wallets, and rarely carry cash (I'm a Debit card kind of guy). However, for the times carrying cash is more practical (going to flea markets, garage sales, concerts, etc) I like to have a slip-proof clip.
This is the wallet I have.... http://www.fossil.com/webapp/wcs/sto...Path=ML5597200 |
