Default DIO - Holy Diver Live on Blu-ray 10/12?

I noticed that this site has a pre-order lup for Holy Diver on 10/12 from Eagle Rock Ent.. Is this a BD of the Holy Diver Live DVD which came out in '06, or another entry in their classic albums series? The price is good either way, but I'd much rather have the concert. Either way, it'd be nice to have some Ronnie James Dio on blu.

metal-rules.com is reporting that the release is in fact Holy Diver Live. Between this, Rust In Peace Live and The Big Four BD, its shaping up to be a loud fall.

Yep, it is the concert and it sure is a great one. Hoping they put the incredible Heaven & Hell live show out on BluRay after this.

I'd wager we'll be getting a lot of Dio on blu in the next year or so.

It's great to be seeing more metal releases on Blu-Ray. The last time I watched this one was when he died.

I'm waiting for Gene Simmons to see the $$ in Blu-ray, so we'll see some KISS on the format.

Ditto on that! Can't wait for KISS to release a BD of their Sonic Boom tour. I saw them last fall and it was an awesome 2 and a half hour show!!

I looked for this blu at both Best Buy and FYE and could not find it. I will try again this weekend in Orlando, but I have a feeling that I will have to order this one online. Anybody got this Blu yet and if you did can you please inform us of the PQ and AQ.

just watched this and its good, but not great. But the Heaven & Hell 'radio city music hall' DVD, even though just on DVD and not Blu, is light years better than 'holy diver' live. And there's a 2nd Heaven & Hell DVD coming up for release as well.
Hopefully one of these gets released in a Blu format.

Yea, I'm sure the "Dvd" is a decent release being as it's older. There'll prob. be many newer things released over the next couple years.

I must be the only huge Dio fan disappointed with this release...1 reason...Doug Aldrich...compared to Jake Lee or Vivian Campbell I thought he was rubbish- just too slow!!
The rest of the band are in great form but sorry, the guitar playing was not up to scratch...
PASS.
