New receiver now what?

Now that I just purchased a new Marantz SR7022, I will be needing a good Blu-ray player.

Since the Marantz decodes all the new audio formats, do I need to purchase an expensive player to produce a great sound and picture?

I talked to Denon today and was told the 2500 will give a great sound but the picture will not be as good as their 3800. But maybe only a scope could tell the difference???

Possible the Marantz BD8002 to match the new receiver.

Possible the new Sony S550 to save money

What about the Sony BDPS2000ES

Your thoughts please. It will help make up my mind.
