Just wanted 2 know if people are still playin Resistance: FOM online before i buy it tomorrow and download the map packs. Also was thinking about buying Mortal Kombat II from the ps store, anybody know if the online is any good?

Aside from a brief stint for nostalgia, I haven't played Resistance in quite some time, but I hear there's still people who still play.

I have MK2, but unless you're a huge MK fan, I can't in any good conscience recommend it. The gameplay is just as broken as you've forgotten. Online does work, but good luck finding a decent match nowadays.

If you're dying to play a beat-em-up online, spring for Tekken 5: Dark Resurrection Online. Better graphics, better game balance, better lobby system, better everything.

I still play.

It's really slow late at night weekdays.

It picks up on the weekends.

learning curve is steep, so if you're a noob, prepare to be pwned. lol

yeah i was having second thoughts about MK ll, probably wont get that. but i will get R:FOM tomorrow. and yes, i am and will be playing like a noob(i can pretty much beat the demo with my eyes closed though).

I don't play online, but I still hold resistance as probably my favorite game so far.

I'm probably going to play the campaign again to try to finish the game without dying on normal.

I died alot... but pretty much only from falling off ledges.

I check out online every now and then and yes, people still play it. There are people playing COD3 online still.
Why not pick up COD4( If you dont already have it)?

puhhh i count at least 150 ppl 2 hours ago, there are always full servers in RFoM! (european time at least)

This game never gets boring, it has the best online connection ever, no lag and no shot delays at all, its fantastic

Hey, i hate to bring back such an old thread, but how many of you still play Ghost Recon: AW2. Are the servers still up and is the online good? My friend is selling his for 20 bucks

. i think this is a steal if the online is good. it would be good to get away from COD for awhile.

If I were you, Id wait for Soul Calibur 4 to drop next week (i think it is). IMO best fighter ever and online will be sick....

yeah, i still dont have an online fighter(is there one besides Tekken

I just bought this yesterday, so hopefully the online community is still strong.

Wait, whats $20? The Tekken right? I have that also, but to be honest, Tekken is by far no match to Soul Calibur....

i wish it was tekken. tekken is 29 bucks, plus another 20 for the online pkg. i was referring to the price my friend is selling Ghost Recon for.

I was able to get GRAW2 brand new from CC recently for $20 on sale. It is $30 new at most places now.

Last time I played GRAW2 was just a couple months ago or so. A lot of the match options don't have players but the more common ones still do. Finding matches on the weekend definitely is not a problem. I think GRAW2 is worth it just for the single player alone though. I'm looking forward to the sequel.

Personally, I like the MP on COD4 better though and there is never a shortage of players there (for now).

cool. i was just trying to get away from COD though. my play time is like 8 days now. and i downloaded the demo of GRAW2 and it seemed pretty cool.

And COD is starting to piss me off between the host ending the game and the server timing out. man, i only get to play like 1 out of every 4 games all the way through.
