hey , just got my new 60" pioneer tv, was just wondering do i need to run movies in full screen for a while or i can start listening to them with the black bars with no problem , also can i get it calibrated right now or i should wait a bit?

Usually with the new tvs you shouldnt have a problem, especailly with pioneers but you can never be to safe. And get it calibrated, the sooner you do that in my opinon the better. Remember your TV out of the box may be to bright or sharp, simply cuz that how they come sometimes outta of the box. Plus getting it calibrated sooner will get you used to the image, rather then getting it done later on when your used to anther image

Wait until after its burned in before calibrating it. The last thing you want to do is pay a couple of hundered bucks for calibration, only to have the settings need changing once the TV's burned in. PS Congrats on your purchase; the 6020 is high on my list! |
