It's obviously an inevitability given the success of the franchise to date!

However, I seriously doubt that I'll consider getting it since the MAIN MAN himself will not be involved in the creation of the game.

Lol kojimas made MGS4 partially he just directed and wrote script every thing else was done by staff plus he had 10 direct assistants that were in it since Metal Gear not Metal Gear Solid and kojima is really F*ckin crazy he ruined MGS4 for the hardcore fans like me WTF was with acts 3-5 they sucked and guess what he wrote the games and if you watch the bonus BLU-RAY with LE MGS4 the assistants said that act 3-5 should of been revised and redone but the fans pushed and the game got released IMO to early bcus there was a rumor the game wouldn't be out till 2009. The whole staff was rushed and acts 3-5 were gimped and lost if we would of waited till 2009 the game would have pwned like it should .

what was wrong with 3-5, I do think for such a finale act 5 was way to short

Guys, I am actually hoping for MGS1 remake for PS3 and release it as a DL game via PSN. Here is why I hope they will do it:

Basically they allready got almost the whole game.

The map layout for alot of the game is allready there. They have to use different textures though, because the texture's in Act 4 are meant to show it as abandend and not as a habitet place.

All the weapons are there, except for 2 weapons, FAMAS and PSG1 (I can live without the FAMAS).

Damn near all characters facemodels, Snake, Naomi, Otacon, Campbell etc. are allready there.

The REX model is there, they only have to make it look new.

The voice actings from Twin Snake's can be used, so no need to record. (I actually prefer the voices from MGS1, but you hear to much ambient noise in those recordings).

Now, alot of people might complain about 'milking' MGS1, I dont care about this, I want this remake.

My speculation is far fetched though, but it won't hurt to hope .

I like the Boss, and as much as I liked MGS3, I don't want to go back to the cold-war or world-war 2 setting. Not a fan of the atmosphere it will bring, plus it will use less and crapier weapons.

What I actually want is the back stories for Liquid and Solidus (top secret black ops), Raiden (rescuing Sunny and his "death") and Gray Fox.

it was quite simple for Big Boss to get him, they were in the same place! and Zeros 105.

I think The LCW would be good, playing as Solidus and meeting RAiden and so forth. I think MPO2 will be in Hirio or wereever its called (in china) where BIg Boss and Eva met again and where Eva disappears, I mean thats just a game waiting to happen

If there is one character that deserves a spinoff its Frank Jaeger!

He is a great character that hasn't really been touched on. If I recall He was a legendary soldier that even snake looked up to. Not to mention he was also Big Boss right had man at one point.
