Default Ps3 94, Xbox Hd-dvd 88

*pretending to be an announcer on CBC's "Hockey Night In Canada"*

Hello Canada!....

(....uh.....OK, and America.....)

Here's the score from the recent face -off of PS3 Vs. XBOX360 HD-DVD on the February and March 2007 issues of Home Theater magazine:

PS3 94
XBX 88

I hope the HD-DVD fanboys at HT mag are not too disappointed that one HD-DVD player got waxed by a Blu-Ray player.
Yes sports fans, yet another reason to go Blu!!!

In this same issue, there's a truly asinine amount of HD-DVD ads. Toshiba and MS must've really gasped that last coin out of the coffers or somethihng.

There's barely any BD ads or prescence...still no BD reviews (no excuse for this)...and then somehow the PS3 gets put up to the moon with 94/100 uber glowing review.

I still can't believe it.

Thumbs up haha

I can already hear the hate coming from 360 fans. Sony seems to be the company people love to hate.

"...more great news for HD DVD," I believe is the joke.

I love C-Net, they actually realise what the PS3 is capable of. HD-DVD owners are now going to see C-Net as public enemy #1 and C-Net will punish them even more for it. Gotta love it.

I was watching it with my brother, and I was like, "Watch the bias now". I was sure wrong....

They still said that they are going to finish the whole fight later on....

The issue which crowns the PS/3 is an HD DVD ad-fest?

That's hilarious! With Microsoft/Toshiba telling this publication what to say (wink-wink) with the ad dollars, they still back the PS/3?! Stunning.

I thought it was rather ironic myself. You really couldn't miss it if you tried. Like I said in some other thread: I usually gloss and tune out the ads as I go along reading the magazine, but I really just couldn't help but notice this.

BluRay is winning for sure, but the 360 sure is mopping the floor with the PS3 as far as game are concerned. This coming from a guy that just sold his Xbox360/HD-DVD player and bought a PS3.

I don't mind too much though, I prefer the PC for games anyway.
