Sorry for the off-topic.

It looks like my first Blu-ray disc will be something that many of you would find unexpecting.

GITS 2 Innocence is too expensive (4000 pesos) and the Mika Nakashima concert tour videos (3000 pesos) are still above the range considering that I have to spend for shipping as well. So all that has left me with this title (at 2,500 pesos)

Unfortunately, I don't know what it is about and I'm not sure if I want to delve into it right now. Some say it's a drama play about AIDS victims etc. etc. but I don't know. Although I've heard comments that it has a good storyline/plot and I haven't watched the stageplay version at all so this should be interesting.

So it looks like it has two-language menu setup (english and Japanese) using a BD-25 disc and 5.1 ch PCM sound for both audio tracks. This could be quite good.

As I've stated in the other thread, I'm gonna be doing a casual review next month but since I don't have any form of Blu-ray hardware atm (my PS3 won't come till Q2 or Q4 of this year), I would be using a public set-up (using a PS3 inside a retail store).

I hope you guys won't be disappointed with my upcoming casual review next month.

First of, why something off Play-Asia when you can buy something from Amazon, for instance?

Secondly, this is a Sony PE title worldwide. Why the rush to get Rent?

Hopefully you're happy with your purchase.

Yup I guess this is my first title.

Or if not, then it could be this one:

Since this title is also a Japan-exclusive title (at the moment or for the first quarter of the year), then this could be a likely option. Pacifier also looks to be cheaper than Rent (2,000 pesos versus 1,700 pesos)

So it's either "Rent" or "Pacifier" for a Japan-exclusive Blu-ray title review.

I *still* hope you won't be disappointed with my casual review next month

I vote for Rent. At least it got songs in PCM.

My wife absolutely adores the musical, which she should considering the number of times she's seen it. She liked the movie well enough, but there's just something about it on stage. I'm really curious to see how Rent turns out since its audio will be the major draw.

I assume you've already bought Chicago for her.

Dreamgirls will look and sound great on BD.
