I think most of us have heard now that The Dark Knight holds the biggest midnight, first day, and weekend opening in box office sales ever. I think the total is $155.34 Million. But does anybody know how the numbers are calculated? I found it interesting that I read the final weekend numbers for Dark Knight at 3 o'clock on a Sunday. The weekend isn't even over... how do they calculate those statistics then?
